Awards & Points
Qualifying Points (Qual Pts)
Qualifying points are awarded to all dogs competing in each division - except the Youth Division where points are awarded to the youth handler not the dog.
Points are entered into a data base by the dog’s name and maintained for that dog’s possible qualification for subsequent competition in flyway, state, regional and national events and tests.
Points are based on the number of dogs in each division. For example if 30 dogs are in your division 1st place would receive 30 qual points and 2nd place would receive 29 qual points etc.... down to 30th place which would recieve 1 qual point.
Championship Points and Titles
Dogs running in the DDC events can earn points towards a Championship Title.
