National Duck Dog Challenge - New and Improved!
We have upgraded our website to make it easier to track your dogs, enter them in events, and shop for NDDC merchandise. New features include:
- Create an account to track your dogs
- Buy merchandise at the NDDC store
- Enter dogs online and pay via Paypal
- Use your DuckBucks on purchases in the NDDC store
- Earn DuckBucks for each entry
- DuckBucks from past events will be credited to your account
Below are step-by-step instructions for getting started with our upgraded site. There are also various frequently asked questions regarding the new site.
- Click the "Free Registration" link in the upper right corner.
- Complete the information form to create your site account and click 'Register'.
- Upon successful completion of the form, you will receive an email to confirm your registration. Click the link in your email to activate your account.
- Follow the link to log into your account.
- Add dogs.
- Enter dogs in upcoming events.
- Earn DuckBucks.
- Shop at the NDDC store and use DuckBucks.
How do I add Dogs?
- Go to your profile
- Click the link to 'add a dog'.
- Complete the form to add a dog to your account. (breed and UKC/AKC are not required).
How do I enter a dog in an event?
- From your profile you can select to enter a dog in an event.
- You can also go to 'View/Enter Events' to enter your dog in an event.
- Select the event you wish to enter.
- Select the division and dog you wish to enter.
- If there is an option to include teammates or handlers you will be prompted here.
- After selecting all divisions and dogs you wish to enter, click 'Proceed to Checkout'.
- Review your purchase. If all info is correct click 'Checkout with PayPal'
- You can use PayPal in two ways. If you already have an account, you can sign in via the form on the right. If you don't have a PayPal account you can click the link on the left to enter your billing information.
- Follow the instructions on paypal to complete the transaction.
- After successful completion you will be credited with 2 DuckBucks for each entry. Duckbucks can then be used to purchase items in the NDDC store.
What are DuckBucks and how do I earn them?
Each time you enter an event you will receive $2 worth of DuckBucks. DuckBucks can be used in the new NDDC store. And best of all, once you register you will be credited with DuckBucks from every entry you have made to-date with NDDC. It may take a number of days for your DuckBucks credit to show up.
How do I shop in the store and use my DuckBucks?
- Click the 'store' link in the main menu to enter the NDDC store.
- Click on any item to view more info on it.
- From the more info page you can choose to 'Add to cart'.
- From the 'view cart' page you can choose to add DuckBucks to your account if you have any.
- After adding all products and Duckbucks you can 'Checkout with PayPal'.
- If you have a PayPal account you can login to the right and pay for your entry. If you do not you can either create a paypal account or simply enter your contact and credit card info to the left.
- Follow the instructions on PayPal to complete the transaction.
